Historically Inspired with Modern Advancements

The Grille offers approachably elegant dining in an incomparable setting amidst the energy of historic Penn Square in Downtown Lancaster. Glorious floor-to-ceiling windows of the boldly reused Beaux-Arts façade provide remarkable street presence at this landmark setting of the former Watt & Shand Department Store.

Chef Kevin Dean has been a resident of Lititz, PA for the last 10 years. He and his wife, Terese, and their two daughters, Cecilia and Zoe, moved here in 2006 from Phoenix, AZ. Chef Kevin spent 7 years as the Director of Dining for Franklin and Marshall College, and the last 3 years as a General Manager and Regional Culinary Specialist for a variety of hospitals and retirement homes.


Chef Kevin is the former Head Coach for the Manheim Township High School Ice Hockey Team and is very active in the local community with outreach programs and volunteer work. Kevin is very excited to bring local ingredients and bold flavors to Penn Square Grille. He and his team rolled out a new, seasonal menu in the beginning of October 2016. Stop in for the classics, or try the new menu items!
